Welcome to your home away from home! Everything you need can be found in this condo. It is an end unit on the 6th floor of a popular Daytona Beach Shores condominium. There is a view of both the ocean and the river with multiple balconies. High patio furniture and tables allow space for enjoyment of the views while sitting out on the balcony for morning coffee.
The condo has a layout with a spacious living area that has a large flat screen TV placed on a console with a built in electric fireplace. The leather seating has multiple reclining features and a large center coffee table. There is an overhead fan for extra comfort. The AC system is new, so the unit cools and heats well.
The updated fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances - a French door refrigerator with ice maker/water access, cooktop range/oven, dishwasher, mounted microwave, and garbage disposal. There are well stocked cupboards and drawers and a coffee station. There are several small appliances for cooking, too. The white tiling with accented backsplash and window over the sink helps make this a bright space with a sliding door out to the main balcony.
The mirrored dining area has an expandable table to accommodate 6 full size chairs. The dining area and living area flow into each other, so there’s plenty of room. On the other side of some kitchen cabinets there is a high counter eating space with bar stools.
At the end of a hallway that provides privacy is a roomy master suite with king size bed, large dresser, and flat screen TV on a console. The suite includes a tiled bathroom with two separate sinks, high toilet, and a large shower/deep soaking tub. This bedroom is completed by a large walk in closet where there are beach wagons available. Access to balconies comes from two sliding doors on opposite sides of the bedroom. All the sliding doors in the unit have been replaced with new doors that are sound proof, easy sliding, with filtered panes. Both bedrooms have overhead fans for comfort.
The second bedroom holds two double beds, a dresser, a mounted flat screen TV, and another large walk in closet. Some coolers are located in this closet so canned drinks can be taken down to the pool. There are also some beach chairs. The sliding glass door gives access to another balcony that faces the river. The adjacent tiled bathroom has a shower and high toilet.
There is a separate laundry room with washer and dryer as well as a quality vacuum for the carpeted bedrooms and an automatic floor cleaner for the tiled floors throughout the condo. There are extra sheets in the hallway linen closet, ample bath towels in each bathroom, and beach towels.
The building has a club room on the top floor where there are scheduled activities and a recreation room in the basement for games and gathering. There is also a gym with a variety of exercise machines on the basement level. The three central elevators are all new and work smoothly and efficiently. Parking is available at the basement level underground garage (parking tag needed) as well as outside on the first floor level. The basement level has both an indoor sauna and a large hot tub room that leads to the outside patio and pool area. There are many chairs and loungers located around the oversized pool, gas grills available, and a gated access to the beach.
The wooden steps outside the gate lead down to a deep beach area for enjoyment of the Atlantic Ocean waves. A short walk up the beach takes you to the pier where you will find Crabby Joe’s Restaurant. Ponce Inlet is a short drive south on the peninsula to a historic lighthouse and several waterfront restaurants. Daytona Beach Shores, Daytona Beach, and Port Orange across the bridge provide many restaurant choices and recreational options.
Entrance to the building is secured, building managers are available during the week at the first floor office, and keyed mail boxes are stationed near the office for long term renters. There is a lovely lobby inside the building front door.
